TOTALLY TUBULAR
This is a very nice pair of early vintage ADVENT Loudspeakers from 1969. This is the early series of the Large Advents with the walnut cabinets and metal-framed 10" woofers. The grille cloth looks new and the ADVENT badges are perfect. The original finish on the real walnut veneer has a warm overall appearance with just the slightest signs of age.
The original 10" metal-framed woofers have had new foam surrounds installed and they sound great! This early version of the Advent has the wooden block spacers behind the grille and "Velcro" attachments.
The metal control / terminal plate on the rear of the cabinet would later become a Masonite composition.
